Kids from separatist republic holidaying in Belarus - official


Belarus is playing host to hundreds of children from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Ivan Prikhodko, Head of the administration of the separatist-controlled town of Horlivka, said.

“We are in contact with all foundations of the Russian Federation, and by the way, not only with Russia; Belarusians are very helpful, they are willing to do it [make all arrangements for kids’ rest – belsat.eu],” he said.

According to the official, about 500 children are sent to summer camps in Anapa, Crimea and Belarus in summer, more than 2,500 – throughout the year.

For their part, the Horlivka authorities assist with the necessary paperwork.
