Pavel Latushka, head of the National Anti-Crisis Administration, addressed the chairman of the National Bank, Pavel Kalaur.

Latushka noted that the National Bank gave false information about inflation. According to his data, prices in Belarus rose not by 9.4% but by almost 15% during the year.

“The Belarusians are saving money from the banks, and the National Bank is trying to hide it. You overestimate the number of deposits in banks. In fact, the total volume of deposits of individuals is almost 2 times lower than that reported by the National Bank,” said the head of the NACA.

He also denied data on forex reserves. According to him, they are not $7.7 billion but about $6 billion.

Such data, said Latushka, were obtained from the employees of the National Bank.
