Most dental implants are made of titanium. A 15% duty has been imposed on its importation into the territory of the Customs Union. Last year, a 10% value-added tax was imposed on these medical products. As a result, the price of implants in Belarus went up by 25%.

“In reality, it is 35-40%. I was planning to put implants last year. I was collecting money and wanted to do it this year, but now it has become unbelievably expensive for me — 900 rubles for a unit. “Now I’m considering the option of Georgia or Ukraine,” said a Belsat reader.

One year ago, the cost of a dental implant in Brest started at 500 BYN, while the most expensive Israeli and Swiss-made implants cost 1,500-2,300 BYN per unit. Now the price of implants in Brest starts at 700 rubles. The cost of a crown on this implant is approximately the same, and you will also have to pay for the doctor’s work.

For example, one new tooth will cost you 1,613 rubles in Brest dental salons, or $620 at today’s exchange rate.
