The social infrastructure in Astravets has been granted the status of the All-Belarusian Youth Construction, the decree of Alyaksandr Lukashenka #190 dated May 20 states.
According to the press service of Lukashenka, housing construction is currently in full swing in Astravets. It is planned that by 2020 the population of the city will grow from 10 to 22-23 thousand people, which has to do with the emergence of the Belarusian NPP.
“The construction of a multifunctional sports complex, an indoor ice rink, a school, a hospital, a kindergarten, a bus station is planned in Astravets.
It is proposed to involve not only student groups, but also young people between the ages of 14 and 31 who have expressed a desire to work,” the commentary to Decree No. 190 notes.
