School students who used white-red-white flag at math competition in Russia threatened by administration
The grammar school students were reportedly threatened with a ban to take part in tournaments.

Belsat.eu tried to learn more about he case. However, the gymnasium No. 29 principal refuted this information.
“These are not our only talanted students. I shook hands with each of them. As for the flag, they are adults and decide for themselves, they are responsible for their actions. I am responsible only for my studies, so I did not punish anyone and did not give reprimands. The same applies to teachers: they were traveling on the orders of the education department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, so I have no right to reprimand them,” Viktar Prishykau, gymnasium No. 29 principal, told belsat.eu
The open tournament of young mathematicians was held in St. Petersburg. Minsk students from gymnasium number 29 took part in the competition under the white-red-white flag. Thus, they wanted to show that Belarus is a separate country, as some residents of Russia believe that Belarus is part of the Russian Federation.
It is interesting that the photo of the Belarusian gymnasium students with the national flag posted on the page of the Russian Foundation “Time of Science” “VKontakte” has disappeared.
