SATIO: 62% of Belarusians expect situation to worsen and fear collapse of healthcare system
SATIO, a company specializing in marketing research, has asked Belarusians to share their forecasts on how the situation with the COVID-19 epidemic will develop in our country.
The SATIO survey involved 1,002 people aged 18 to 64 from different regions of the country.
Sixty-two percent of respondents are sure that the situation will get worse within the next month.
Most of those who see signs of the situation worsening are Belarusians with higher education.
Mainly, the residents of Belarus are afraid that local doctors will not cope with a sharp outbreak of coronavirus infection, as well as falling wages and shortages of medicines.
On April 2, Ministry of Health published updated data on the number of infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Belarus. As of 17:00, there were 304 infected with coronavirus in Belarus (4 of them died).
