Russian politician remembers confession from Lukashenka's administration staff


Leonid Gozman has told about a man from Lukashenka’s administration admitting to extrajudicial killings.

In a recent article that appeared in Novaya Gazeta Russian politician Leonid Gozman wrote about a reception with the participation of Alyaksandr Lukashenka that he attended in the early 2000s:

“At the beginning of the 2000s, I happened to be in Minsk at an event in which Lukashenka took part. In the evening, he gave dinner to twenty people — half were from Russia, half were his employees. A person close to the Belarusian leader from his administration was assigned to court me. Between pouring vodka and explaining how he respects me, he suddenly asked why, in his wording, we, the Moscow intelligentsia, don’t love Father (Lukashenka)? I said that there are many reasons, but one of them is that they kill political opponents of the president. People disappear without a trace. He threw up his hands and said, and I quote, only the obscene words were replaced with synonymous: “We are so tired of your missing / killed! In all this time, only four were killed. And those were sadists, homosexuals. And because of this, you … “

During the current protests, the Belarusian state propaganda calls the Belarusians drug addicts, recidivists, and former criminals.
