Portuguese firm makes sugar bags with artwork by Belarusian artist

The sugar is distributed via a large ‘Sidul’ network, which delivers it to cafes.

The artwork made by Volha Kuzmich feature characters of different age: girls with boys and guitars, young people going to the festival, slices of watermelon dancing in pairs.

Volha says her characters have already appeared in the advertising of other products.

“For example, last year, the company ‘Nescafe’ in Belarus made advertising using them. In the spring I completed a big animated movie for Swedish municipalities, where several of these characters talk about current trends in the development of society. “

The artist continues to use the characters in new stories.

“After my post in social networks, friends wrote me that they had been bringing those sugar bags as souvenirs, but they did not suspect that they were of Belarusian origin!”
