Former commander of military unit 3214 Dzmitry Paulichenka and former special forces fighter Yury Garavski were photographed by the SB photographer during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Association of Veterans of Special Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Honor” in November 2017.
On 16 December, Paulichenka first told journalists that Garavski had served with him, but then got involved into extortion activities and was serving his sentence during the disappearance of the oppositionists.
Later Paulichenka said he did not know such a fighter and confused him with someone else.
