Military field hospital set up in Vitsebsk region to fight COVID-19


The Belarusian military forces are setting up a field hospital near Lepel in case the coronavirus gets out of control. The hospital is created from military tents, but with all the necessary communications, reports regional portal orsha.eu.

The hospital for the Great Patriotic War veterans near Vorsha is being prepared for those infected with coronavirus. The other day, all the planned patients were discharged from here. This hospital belongs to the regional executive committee, and it is likely that the infected people will be brought here from Vitsebsk and other cities.

Another hospital to be ready in case the epidemic gets out of control is being built by the military near Lepel. A field hospital is being created from army tents, but with all the necessary communications.

Earlier President Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced his intention to involve military doctors in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
