The Homiel blogger Syarhei Tsikhanouski has been suddenly released, the Telegram channel Country for Life reports.
Policemen took the blogger into town and just let him go.
Syarhei Tsikhanouski was detained on May 6th and sent to serve 15 days of administrative arrest for the rally against the integration with Russia on December 20th (he covered the December protests for his blog). While serving an administrative sentence, the blogger was tried two more times getting sentenced to 15 more days of arrest. All in all, he was to spend 45 days behind bars.
