The celebrations took place in Hlubokaye, Vitsebsk, Hrodna, Mahiliou and Vilnius.

In Hrodna they read out the Third Statute of the BNR, sang The Chase anthem. Mass actions were not held here.

In Mahiliou, they distributed postcards and also did not organize any mass actions.

In Hlubokaye, people gathered near the monument to Vatslau Lastouski. They laid flowers, launched balloons with white, red and white flags. However, the wind made its corrections and the balloons with the flag hung on a tree. Several policemen in plain clothes were recording the action.

In Vilnius, Belarusians honored the memory of Belarusian figures in the cemetery on the Freedom Day. No more than 5 people could gather for the laying of flowers and candles in Lithuania because of the coronavirus. In the evening, the rules changed — no more than 2 people could gather and talk to each other for no more than 15 minutes.
