Ministry of Economy of Belarus has refused to announce the road map for the integration of Belarus and Russia. According to officials, the initialled documents refer to the “official information of limited distribution”. This the response “Fresh Wind” civil campaign activists received from the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
Ministry of Economy refused to voice the details included in the “road maps” of integration of Belarus and Russia. The response to the activists of the campaign “Fresh Wind” notes that the dissemination of information about what is discussed in the integration context may damage national security, public order, morals, etc. Therefore, the initialed documents refer to “official information of limited distribution”.
Special commissions from Belarus and Russia are working on the integration roadmap. The work is carried out in many spheres, but so far the results achieved have not been announced. It is noted that the parties have contradictions, but again no details were specified.
Earlier, Prime Minister Syarhey Rumas noted that the integration road map would be completed in November and handed over to the heads of Belarus and Russia. Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin are expected to sign an agreement on integration on December 8 this year.
