Lithuania plans to bill Lukashenka for transferring illegal migrants, MEP Petras Auštrevičius said on the air of Current Time. According to him, this issue will be discussed at a session of the European Parliament.

“We have to pay all these bills, which are all big expenses: to meet the migrants, as well as to provide them with food and medical care and so on — we will collect all these bills and give them to Belarus. And we’ll see which international court will deal with it. I have no doubt that we will raise this issue at the level of the United Nations and at the institutions on migration. So, it will be another shameful stain on Lukashenka’s uniform,” said the MEP.

Petras Auštrevičius also expressed his confidence that the flow of illegals, organized by the regime, is a very profitable business.

This year, 938 illegal migrants from Belarus have tried to enter Lithuania. This figure is almost 12 times higher than it was during the entire year of 2020.

The Lithuanian authorities suspect official Minsk of organizing the transit of migrants from Asia and Africa.
