On February 3, 4,990 patients with COVID 19 were registered in Belarus, reports the Ministry of Health. These figures have become a record since the pandemic began.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 753,495 people became ill with coronavirus in Belarus during the pandemic. Of these, 6,099 people died.
Last week, the number of new cases was rising daily. On Sunday, January 30, 2,387 positive cases of covid were recorded, while on February 2 — 3,634, and on February 3 — nearly 5 thousand.
According to the decision of the Healthcare Ministry, due to the rise in the number of acute respiratory viral infection cases, in particular COVID 19, patients will be received in clinics and checked home on weekends as well. This change will come into effect on February 5.
