In an interview with Belsat, Pavel Latushka, Head of the People’s Anti-Crisis Administration (PACA) and former Belarusian minister, commented on the might-have-been rally on Victory Day and the widely reported decree on power transfer in case of Lukashenka’s death.

This year, Victory Day was celebrated against the backdrop of a deep political crisis.

On the occasion of Victory Day, Sharetsky wished the Belarusians “a speedy liberation from the regime of the fighter for Hitler’s order.”

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has accepted an invitation to the Victory Parade in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Russia’s Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev.

According to Lukashenka, European countries buy Russian gas at a price almost half as low as Belarus.

Jozef Migas, who had been Ambassador of Slovakia to Belarus since 2016, handed in his resignation, which has been accepted.

During a recent meeting with his administration and government, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that Belarus had recorded a decline in pneumonia. He also commented on the parade, held on May 9th to the local TV station ONT.
