Belsat documentary receives major award at Neisse Film Festival
The movie “When the flowers are not silent” produced by Belsat has won another award. The work of Andrei Kutsila got considered the best documentary by the jury of the 19th Neisse Film Festival.

I Am the Coordinator. Why Women Took to the Streets
Since August 15, every Saturday in Minsk, Belarusians went to a Women’s March against police brutality and as a sign of solidarity with everyone who yearns for change in the country. Women came out demanding Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s resignation, new elections, release of political prisoners and investigation of all acts of violence against civilians. Women with flowers in their hands and in white dresses became a symbol of the new Belarus, known all over the world.

Solidary Białystok
Białystok is an important place among the solidary cities. Firstly, because of its close proximity and strong economic ties with Belarus, secondly, because it has a large Belarusian national minority, and thirdly, because it has a growing Belarusian diaspora. Hence, in Białystok, numerous actions of solidarity with the persecuted Belarusians in their homeland have been taking place. In my documentary, I want to show the diversity and spectacularism of these actions.
