On June 14, there were no rallies near Kamarouski market in Minsk, but a significant number of people came to sign for wannabe presidential candidates.

Mikalai Statkevich, a 2010 presidential candidate, announced holding pickets and rallies in all regional centres and the Belarusian capital on May, 31.

Over the last week, Belarus’ Central Election Commission (CEC) have registered 15 of 55 initiative groups. It means that over a dozen wannabe candidates got the green light for collecting signatures to be nominated for the 2020 presidential run. There are both establishment and opposition politicians among them.

The campaign trip of the opposition activists in Belarus is canceled until April 2.
