Although Belarusian students are now facing a busy period, the youngest son of the Belarusian president is apparently allowed to stay away from classes.

Kolya Lukashenka, who arrived in China together with his father, will spend there three days. He was spotted at the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing. Belsat.eu is eager to find out why Kolya is playing truant, but Katsyaryna Makhakhey, Director of the Astrashytski Haradok school he attends has repeatedly failed to pick up the phone.

It is the young person’s hairstyle that has caught the Belarusian journalists’ attention; he seems to be trend-conscious. Kolya’s new look was caught on camera by Getty Images photographer Andrea Verdell on April, 25.

On August 31, Kolya Lukashenka turned 14. He has visibly grown up and matured over the past year; being a teenager, he looks as if he was an adult.

The Belarusian leader is notorious for taking his beloved son to domestic and foreign official meetings and events. For example, when the head of Belarus took part in June’s summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Quingdao. Kolya gained a seat in the ‘presidential’ row for the heads of states. Moreover, he happened to be the youngest attender at the UN General Assembly.
