Russian military helicopter accidentally fires at residential building


In Russia, a military helicopter has fired outside the Chita airfield, TASS reports.

The press service of the Eastern Military District informed the agency that on March 14, a 23-mm Mi-8 helicopter gun accidentally fired outside the airfield at Cheryomushki airfield in Chita when being serviced.

It is noted that there were no casualties.

The incident is being investigated. The issue of compensation for damages is being resolved.

Earlier Telegram Channel 112 reported that as a result of the accident, the lining of the balcony of an apartment building and glazing of the balcony on the second floor were damaged.
