Poland’s security services raid pro-Putin politician’s office

Mateusz Piskorski, the leader of pro-Kremlin party ‘Zmiana’ (Change) was detained on suspicion of spying for a foreign country, Russian portal newsbalt.ru reported on Wednesday.

However, Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) denied the arrest of Piskorski and confirmed the fact of searches in the apartments of Zmiana members.

Zmiana was founded in February 2015. The party calls for Poland’s exiting from NATO, as well as making a turn to Russia in its foreign policy.

Mateusz Piskorski reported he had not noticed any violations when being an international observer during the 2014 referendum in Crimea. At the same time, Russian green men did scare him (watch the video above).
