The 34-year-old man was detained in the cafe on Independence Avenue.
The cafe staff pressed the alarm button. Law enforcers arrived promptly. One of the witnesses of the incident tried to protect the boy and detained the criminal.
Policemen found out that the boy came to the fast food restaurant with his grandmother and went to the toilet to wash hands. Behind him walked a pedophile. The man gagged the boy’s mouth and assaulted him.
The detainee turned out a repeated offender, he was previously charged for sexually assaulting minors. The investigation is currently underway.
