The infectious diseases hospital in Minsk is now operating in a special regime. New recommendations appear every day, the flow of patients is redistributed, Minsk-Novosti reports.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the medical part of Minsk City Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital Sviataslau Velhin said that currently the isolation hospital operates in a special mode.
“Our clinic has been reordered. We’re working, in fact, only with COVID-19. The medical institution is designed for 200 beds and is almost full,” said Dr. Velhin.
The hospital has a special system in which patients have minimal contact with medical workers. Wards in one of the blocks are connected to oxygen, so they can help even patients with severe lung inflammation.
The hospital also has new test systems that give results even on the test day.
