Maria Savchenko asks Russian mothers not to let their sons go to war (video)

Maria Savchenko, the mother of Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko, urges Russian women to stop their sons from going to war-torn Donbas.


“I wrote a letter to Russian mothers and asked them not to send their sons to Ukraine to kill our Ukrainians. I wanted them to know how many Russians had been already killed,” Maria Savchenko said.

Vladimir Putin is covering up the real anount of combat losses, she stated in the letter.
