Lukashenka comes to Moscow for parade, calls it ‘capital of motherland’

The head of Belarus arrived in Moscow for the parade on Victory Day together with his sons. After the celebration, he wished the guests not to get sick and called Moscow “the capital of homeland”. The farewell video was published in the Telegram channel of the Kremlin pool of journalists of the RIA Novosti agency.

At the end of the parade, after words of gratitude, Alyaksandr Lukashenka suddenly announced:

“We’ve arrived in the capital of our motherland”.

His words were met with great applause by the parade audience. In response, even someone shouted: “Ryhoravich, hold on!” In a couple of seconds, Lukashenka answered:

“We’ll win, we’ll persevere! Stay healthy”.

The Victory Day parade was to be held in Moscow on May 9, but was postponed due to the pandemic. The parade was held in Minsk, but Russian President Vladimir Putin did not attend it.

However, Lukashenka accepted the invitation and went to Moscow with his sons.
