Kastus Zhukouski and Andrei Tolchyn on trial yet again

Homiel region court heard the administrative case of journalists Kastus Zhukouski and Andrei Tolchyn.

Journalists are accused of violating legislation on mass media (Part 2 of Art. 22.9 of the Administrative Code) while cooperating with the TV channel “Belsat” without Belarus Foreign Ministry accreditation. The case is based on the story about closing of the school in the Kaplichy village.

Kastus Zhukouski said that he now fails to remember exactly the number of trials involving him: this year alone about 20 police reports have been drawn on him involving more than 10 court sessions.
