About 20 people gathered near the Belarusian embassy.
The rally “Freedom to political prisoners!” took place in Vilnius on June 26. People gathered at the embassy of Belarus. About 20 people took part in the event. Among them were local Belarusians, EHU students, human rights activists, representatives of various political movements, as well as a member of the Lithuanian Seimas – Žygimantas Pavilionis.
The purpose of the event was to support political prisoners, condemn illegal actions of the authorities, including obstacles to democratic and transparent elections.
In Vilnius, such actions are planned to be held every Friday. Next time, it will take place near the presidential office.
Solidarity actions were held in Barcelona and Bialystok in recent days.
