Exports of Belarusian oil products collapse by more than 17%

Exports of petroleum products from Belarus have decreased by 17.3% to 3.8 million tons in January-April 2019, BelTA reports with reference to the National Statistics Committee.

In value terms, supplies decreased by 18.6% to $1.8 billion in comparison with January-April 2018.

Oil exports from Belarus decreased by 9% to 488 thousand tons in January-April (in value terms it decreased by 11.4% to $ 222.7 million). The total volume was delivered to Germany.

Over the four months, oil import amounted to about 6 million tons (0.5% less than last year). Imports of oil products amounted to 73.6 thousand tons (by 95% less – in January-April 2018 it was 1.5 million tons).
