Belsat News now has 200K YouTube subscribers

The number of subscribers of the Belsat News channel on YouTube has almost doubled over the year and reached 200,000 as of May 2.

On May 2, 2018 the channel had only 61,500 subscribers, a year later — 103,500, now there are over 200,000 subscribers. At the moment it is the most popular Belarusian-language YouTube channel.

Daily news and other programs, as well as the program of blogger NEXTA are available on Belsat News channel. In addition, you can find Belsat-made documentaries there.

An interview with KGB Major who escaped to Sweden and told the secrets of Lukashenka remains the most popular story on Belsat News. This video has been viewed by more than 1 million 232 thousand people in the last two years.

Belsat News has become even more popular during the pandemic. Within a month, about 30 materials of the channel got into YouTube trends in Belarus. More than 100 thousand people watched the information block of Belsat daily.

The overwhelming majority of the channel’s audience are the citizens of big cities and Minsk in the first place. However, Belsat News also has viewers abroad — in Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland and Ukraine.
