An incident occurred in the Belarusian army. A soldier has lost an eye in the 103rd Vitsebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade.
According to blogger NEXTA, the paratrooper shot his colleague in the eye. Because the charge was blank, the victim was not killed, but lost an eye.
He will be invalided out of the army.
The punishment for the perpetrator will depend on the circumstances of the incident and whether the shot was deliberate.
The Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the incident.
