Belarusian government to support economy during pandemic


Prime Minister of Belarus Siarhey Rumas said that about 110 million BYN would be allocated to support the economy in the coronavirus times, TUT.by reports.

PM Rumas said that the government had discussed a set of measures to support people and businesses in the coronavirus times. These measures should cover 550 thousand people.

“The document was sent to the President of Belarus, who sent it to other bodies. We hope that colleagues, including the State Control Committee, will support it,” said Rumas.

According to the head of government, 110 million BYN is planned to be directed to support the economy.
