Belarus officials: Over 60K coronavirus cases, 373 deaths since start of epidemic
The Belarusian Health Ministry has updated information on the coronavirus situation in the country.
To date, Belarusian health professionals have registered 60,713 persons infected with the novel coronavirus. In the past 24 hours, 331 new cases have been confirmed.
“For the entire period of the spread of the infection in the country, 373 patients who were previously tested positive for the coronavirus have died; they had chronic and co-existing illnesses,” the statement reads.
On June 25, the Belarusian authorities reported 367 coronavirus deaths in the republic; thus, another six persons have passed away within the last day.
42,689 patients who were diagnosed with COVID-19 have already recovered (+1,241). By the moment, nearly 940K tests for detecting the virus have been conducted in Belarus.
