Belarus national debt increases by $528 million

On April 1, 2016 it amounted to $13 billion, Ministry of Finance reports.

In January-March 2016, Belarus took loans for $686.5 million:

$500 million in the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development;

$88 million were allocated by the Russian government and Russian banks;

$87.4 million was borrowed from Chinese banks;

$11.1 million were received from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Since the beginning of 2016, Belarus repaid $225.8 million.
