The State Border Committee of Belarus has reported that throughout the entire period of the 30-day visa-free regime, Belarus managed to receive about 60 thousand foreign citizens.
“From July 25 to December 31 of last year, 58,106 foreign citizens passed through the National Airport under the visa-free regime,” the Ministry reports.
At the same time, Belarus has been most popular among the citizens of Germany, the USA and Italy.
Since July 25 last year, the duration of the visa-free period for foreigners was increased by 25 days at once from 5 to 30 days. The main condition for obtaining such an opportunity is to enter the country through the National Airport Minsk.
The visa-free regime travel via the airport does not apply to persons arriving in Belarus by flights from Russia, or planning to fly to Russian airports, since such flights are considered domestic and there are no border controls on them.
