Suicide in police car: sister of deceased man distrustful of investigation results

The investigative committee has extended an inquiry into the death of a villager coming from Nyasvizh area, who had allegedly hung himself in a police car. The relatives of the deceased have not yet been given the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the case documents, including the text of the medical examination. The video from the car where the 48-year-old Syarhei Abramovich allegedly hanged himself was not shown in full, although the video is in the case file. But the local police inspector Yauhen Dudz, in whose car the villager was found, was suddenly promoted to the senior lieutenant.

Belsat TV has been following this tragic story from the start and once again went to visit Ina Rusak, the sister of the deceased, who does not believe in the official version of his brother’s death. Ina Rusak said:

“I saw some records from the police dash cam, but not all. I am also concerned that the departure from Zaturye, where they checked on the supervised person, was at 5:05 pm, and the time of death is 6:31 pm. It means that the trip to Pahulyanka is literally about 20 minutes. This is if you go slowly. An hour of the events is missing… I was told that he did it himself. Well, if he did it himself, show me all the records, so I would be sure that he did it himself… “

“The version of suicide, which has already been confirmed by medical examination, which Ina Rusak had seen, but not allowed to make copies of the examination, not even allowed to make notes. She said that there were many issues even with the medical examination. Because it says that bile was found in the men’s internal organs, and this is only possible in the case of an injury when the gallbladder was damaged. In the same examination, the lace size was indicated, which Syarhei allegedly used to hang himself, which is only 46 centimeters. And this is a very small lace. But the official version of the examination is asphyxia as a result of asphyxiation. Ina was told that at the time of the examinations, the policemen would be suspended, but one of them was even awarded for excellent work. ”
