Newcomer’s impressions: ‘Belarus resembles Syria, but there’s no war.’

When the war in Syria broke out, Ammar Alshaar left his homeland and entered the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

He is 24 years old. He has spent the last four years in Belarus, where he was trained as an actor. At first, Ammar felt uncomfortable in our country, but later he found his place here.

Ammar invited our crew to share his joy at two big life events – his graduation play and wedding! As you might have guessed, it is the woman, the beautiful Anya, who helped Ammar grow to like Belarus…

The preparations are underway even on the day before the wedding: Ammar’s relatives arrive, the suit is not ready yet, their first dance of the young couple is far from perfection. But we have a feeling that the feast will be unforgettable!
