‘Belarus, not White Russia’. Campaign to properly name our country in China

Chinese people are being taught to use a right name of our country.

“’Belarus is not White Russia’. A campaign to change the name of the Belarusian state in the Chinese language from ‘White Russia’ and ‘Byelorussia’ to ‘Belarus’ has started in China,” Belarusian ambassador Kiryl Rudy said on Twitter.

The ‘lost’ hieroglyph in the left-hand picture means ‘Russian’, the envoy said in comments to the tweet.
