Lukashenka orders large-scale inspection of Belarusian army

In accordance with the instruction of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the State Secretariat of the Security Council will conduct an audit of the Armed Forces of Belarus.

It is noted that subdivisions of various troops are subject to control: reconnaissance, missile forces and artillery, mechanized, anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, including training with fire.

The system of troop mobilization will be tested, including the readiness to form a separate mechanized brigade and its ability to perform tasks independently for the intended purpose. Up to 2,000 people will be summoned from the reserve.

Particular attention will be paid to assessing the capabilities of the air force and air defense forces in terms of “covering the administrative and industrial areas and preventing acts of air terrorism.” Additional attention will be paid to the questions of military discipline in the troops, as well as the state of arms and military equipment in combat military units and storage bases, BelTA informs.
