Putin’s analysts: Belarus is part of Russia, Ukraine regime must be destroyed

Leonid Reshetnikov, Head of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies (RISI), denies the sovereignty of Belarus and states that our country is following the Ukrainian scenario.

Moreover, there have been calls for the destruction of Ukraine made by an expert of the Center for Military and Political Studies of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

RISI is a think tank that works for the administration of the Russian president and other government bodies. MGIMO has a reputation of an elite university training diplomats.

In his speech, Reshetnikov refers to the 1926 Communist party resolution “On creation of the Belarusian language’. Interestingly, belsat.eu failed to find the text of it. According to Russian analysts, it was the Communists who created the Belarusian language.

“You see, in 1926! This language appears to be 90 years. The bomb laid at that time has been exploded now, and small bomb continue to explode. All of us are very concerned about it, I think, that our leadership also have concerns. At the moment, our attention is distracted by Syria, Ukraine, Trump; Belarus is neglected. But we must not forget about Belarus – this is a historical part of Great Russia, it is part of our people… What are they [Belarusian authorities] thinking about? They are moving away from Moscow and surrendering to someone else,” says Reshetnikov.

Unfortunately, the author of the video did not publish the full speech of the RISD head (the Youtube version had been edited before being published).

Syrian operation in Ukraine?

In the second part of the video, the expert of the MGIMO Center for Military and Political Studies, voiced his proposal to destabilize Ukraine.

“Our aviation and long-range gun system should help Donbas Army. In fact, the Syrian template should be applied: at first, the military infrastructure of Ukraine is to be destroyed – its communication system, air defense and heavy weapons. After that, Donbas troops will march off and mop up the remnants of the Ukrainian army. After such operation, the Ukrainian regime will start to crumble, the expert believes.
